Our Community Guidelines

StreetBuzz exists to keep locals informed, connected, and empowered. To make sure this space stays valuable and respectful for everyone, here are a few important ground rules

The Do's and Don'ts

✅ What We Encourage:
  • Truthful Reporting – Share what you’ve witnessed firsthand or verified. If you’re unsure, label it as unconfirmed.
  • Respectful Discussions – Debate is welcome, abuse is not. Treat each other like neighbours.
  • Constructive Alerts – Report crime, lost pets, safety concerns, or community events with helpful context and urgency.
  • Supportive Contributions – Celebrate local heroes, post helpful info, and offer assistance to others in need.
🚫 What’s Not Allowed:
  • Hate Speech, Bullying or Discrimination – No tolerance for racism, sexism, homophobia, or harassment.
  • Political or Religious Agendas – StreetBuzz is a neutral space. Leave campaigning or polarising content elsewhere.
  • False Information or Fear-Mongering – Intentional misinformation or clickbait will be removed.
  • Vigilante Behavior – Do not encourage or plan unlawful retaliation. Always contact authorities first.
  • Spam, Promotions, or Scams – Keep content focused on public interest, not personal profit or deception.
